A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Terms

A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Community Members who register with the business will be provided with a Barter Bank Card within seven to fourteen days of registration (dependent upon postal service). This will be required as proof of evidence when bartering with anyone in A Touch of TLC’s Barter Bank Community Australia wide.

Barter Bank Community members will receive an e-Directory of services and goods available to barter twice a year. That e-Directory will include their own service or goods on offer and will be distributed electronically on 1st March and 1st September annually.

Any registration signed up to A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Community between each e-Directory release periods, will receive the e-Directory that has most recently been released to A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Community Members.

Only ethical Services and Goods are permitted to be registered with A Touch of TLC’s Barter Bank and bartered for free. This ensures that there are no Adult Services or goods, Alcohol or Drug related services or goods, no Gambling related goods or services available for barter within A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Community. This service is intended to be beneficial and helpful to all without any direct potential for harm or offence.

In the event a Barter Bank Community Member perceives they have received unethical treatment when operating within the service, they are to report that goods or service provider directly to A Touch of TLC via an email sent to barterbank@atouchoftlc.com.au with subject title: “BARTER BANK COMPLAINT (and insert the Members name). A Touch of TLC will operate the business on a three person’s witness system. Should three negative reports for unethical treatment be made in relation to any one given provider, the Community Members Registration will be removed from the Barter Bank e-Directory with notification to that member but without any refund, regardless of how long they have been a part of A Touch of TLC’s Barter Bank Community

Each Registration is legally responsible for their own service and goods bartered and A Touch of TLC takes no legal responsibility or liability for any other Registrant’s service or goods, nor any responsibility for any costs incurred or associated legal fees, should a Community Member take another through or to any court of law or dispute resolution process.

A Touch of TLC reserves the right to and commits to allowing its Barter Bank Community to continue bartering goods and services registered with the business if the business is required to cease operations due to circumstances outside of the Founder’s control. The Founder’s consent does not extend to allowing any additional registrants into the existing Barter Bank Community.

All A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Registrants are encouraged to provide four referrals of others they believe could benefit from being part of A Touch of TLC Barter Bank Community. A tip here is to refer those you think you could benefit from bartering with, in the future, along with friends.

Your Registration Fee is to be paid by Direct Deposit into A Touch of TLC, NAB Bank, BSB: 085-005 Account Number: 91-142-8999. (This can be done via our website if preferred.) Alternatively, for in person Registrations (with the Founder) a mobile payment Square is available for Electronic Transfer and Cash is also accepted.
